I have been doing needle craft as long as I can remember. I was taught to knit and crochet when I was only eight years old and have been fascinated by textiles and textile production and manipulation ever since. My 'classical' training was in fashion, but over the last few years I have been totally obsessed with quilt making. When I was recently asked what I 'do' I surprised myself by answering 'I am a quilt maker', so I suppose thats what I do now, I make quilts! I just purchased my first long arm machine so that I can quilt faster and therefore quilt for other makers, and I have also started to teach precision piecing and quilting to other quilters. I have just signed up to do my fourth book which will be on Bridal Couture, but when that one is done and published, I will be starting my quilting master class series.. ..very excited...watch this space!!!
